First, this book was recommended by ATATURK to military students. 

In the book describes how Finland, the land of the Marshes, became one of the developed countries over time and through reforms. Written in the 1920s, a kind of show of social solidarity. In the book, people who are tired of being under the yoke and whose future is uncertain do not realize anything until someone reminds them.  Snelman make public lecture with many people based on the question of how we can make the country better. They achieve great success by changing family structures, perspectives, lifestyles in the country. Not only with these, but also the military, education, the street, the house are reorganized. It's not just the snelmen's achievement it's society's achievement. It is a book that describes how the public's view of education is more effective than the education system in the  country.
