Make Lesson Funnier ; Powtoon

Aloha Guys! I came up with an idea that you can use in your classes and make lessons funnier. 

Powtoon is a tool that allows you to create an animation using speech balloons, shapes, images, characters, and many other materials that you can think of. Powtoon has both paid and free options. Teachers can buy a classroom account for up to 90 students, which gives them extra features. But the products that you can create for free are enough for your lessons. Teachers can make presentations using existing templates or start from scratch. Both options provide users to add text, illustrations, simple animations, short videos, transition effects, and more. Teachers can look for illustrations and videos on PowToon, or they can upload their own.  


How can we use this application in education ? 


PowToon can be seen to be a powerful animated presentation tool. Through the Powtoon tool, you can share subheadings of the topic or important parts of the topic with your students in a remarkable way when switching to a new topic or new unit. For use during the lecture, you can prepare it in advance and use it to narrate the crucial parts of the subject, furthermore, you have another opportunity you can increase the permanence by supporting it with images. Another example of use is that you can ask your student to make a small presentation in Powtoon so that they have been able to do an assignment by combining the course subject with the technology. Powtoon is loved by students because it makes lessons, assignments and presentations funnier.

Let's Make an Animation Together




First, I signd up and join as a teacher. You can customize as you want. Such as, student, personal, manager and so on. It is up to you. 

And then, you can desing your animoto as you wish and need. There are a lot of option for making different subjects.  There are ready-made templates that you can use when describing yourself, giving homework, and lecturing.


Now, I chose my topic. I could have create my animation or import my computer but I prefer to use existing templates.
